Alexa did great on the plane ride. She slept on the take off and cuddled with mom on the landing. Not a peep out of her though. We had a short layover in Denver and then it was on to San Diego. She did great on the second flight as well. We got several compliements from people sitting around us. After landing and getting the rental car we hit up Target for some essentials. Although I didn't get a picture, the Target was 2 stories and had escalators for people and for carts. We just had to try it out.
I knew there was a reason we got a rental car with a large trunk, just didn't know this would be the reason...
(Dad was changing her diaper)
We finally made it to the hotel and were all sleepy (some more than others).
After a much needed nap we went down to the pool for a quick swim. It was a little breezy when we got out but still very nice. We cleaned up and then headed to Old Town for some dinner. We ate at Cafe Coyote, a mexican restaurant. They had ladies making homemade fresh tortillas. It was a good meal. Check out their tequila list. Notice the price of the one on the bottom.
Although we didn't order any $125 shots I did enjoy a magarita.
After dinner we headed back to the hotel to get a good night's rest. We passed by a huge cactus.
We planned to go to the zoo on day 2 but Alexa woke up with a 103.2 fever. We gave her some Ibuprofen and she is taking a nap. We will see what the day brings us.

Alexa is sooo cute! I hope she starts feeling better so you can enjoy the rest of your trip!
