San Diego Trip - Day 3 - Monday, April 12

Day 3 started out a with some rain but by time we got ready and Alexa had her morning nap it cleared up and the sun came out.  We went to the Sea Life Aquarium by Legoland.  It was a cool aquarium for children.  Everything was Alexa's height so she could see right in the tanks.  She really enjoyed watching the fish and I think it made Jason want another tank at home.

On our way to lunch at Karl Strauss Brewing Company we noticed some flower fields with a great ocean view.  We couldn't resist the photo opportunity.

After lunch we headed back downtown to the pier for a tour of the USS Midway.  Here is Alexa now in the cockpit of an airplane.

After finishing the tour we took shelter for a quick 60 second rain shower and then walked along the pier.  The following picture was taken just after Jason gave a bum some money (sucker).

After a very long day we were all exhausted and Alexa was a bit cranky.  We decided to head back to the hotel and do room service for dinner.
