San Diego Trip - Day 4 - Tuesday, April 13

We started the day off by going to Cabrillo National Monument on the tip of the Point Loma Peninsula.  I am not sure what the meaning behind the monument is or what it even looks like.  We went for the views and they were amazing.  We hiked around the monument area where we watched jets take off from Naval Air Station on Coronado.  We then went down and hiked the cliffs near the coast to see the tide pools.  It was a beautiful area.

After all the hiking we needed some lunch.  We stopped at Hodad's Burgers near Ocean Beach.  They were some of the best burgers (these were the singles) we have had.  We also split some frings (fries and onion rings) and a shake.  So much food and our bill was only $20.

After lunch we went to the beach on Coronado.

After leaving the beach we stopped by Seaport Village for a quick happy hour drink and then headed back to the hotel to pack.  Our travels home went well too.  We are excited to start planning our next trip.
